Committee members will plan and organize one extra gathering for the month. Members will create meaningful and fun reasons to bring more of our members together, such as for field trips to local museums, film screenings and sharing singing and meals.

These events are typically held once a year and involve much planning. Dialogue Circles are discussions held over five sessions in which the same diverse group of people meet for at least two hours each session to learn about the diverse experiences of the other participants. Committee members will secure a trained Dialogue Circle facilitator to manage participants and conversation during the sessions. The committee members will act as schedule liaison to ensure all participants are aware of their long-term commitment to the Circle. Committee members should take pictures!!

The award recognizes one student from each of the four area public high schools who is known as a bridge builder/peacemaker. ATW awards $500 for a student entering a college, university or trade school. Committee Members will administer application packets to each school liaison and be a point of contact for that school liaison if questions or concerns arise. A committee member must be present at the school’s ceremony when the award is given. It is customary for an actual book to be given to each student to symbolize the award. Committee members should take picture!!

Committee members will manage volunteer sign-up for the Black Lives Matter tent on Saturdays at the Williamsburg Farmer’s Market from April to October. Committee members will ensure that there is enough coverage for the tent on any given Saturday, this may mean volunteering their time at a moment’s notice. Committee members will ensure that the tent is stocked with lemonade, snacks, brochures, bookmarks, and that the Black Lives Matter car is loaded and ready to go for the next Saturday.

Committee members will promote and publicize All Together and our events on bulletin boards, on partner Web sites, in newspapers, and in other media outlets. This includes knowing about relevant events occurring in the community that All Together can partner with. This committee will organize and manage an ongoing list of contacts for the purpose of promoting and publicizing All Together and the All Together mission. Committee members will coordinate our membership drive.
