What Is a Study Circle?
An initiative of Everyday Democracy, Everyday Democracy works with neighborhoods, cities and towns, regions, and states, helping them pay particular attention to how racism and ethnic differences affect the problems they address.
A local Study Circle involves a group of diverse citizens who agree to meet four to six times to discuss community issues in a democratic and collaborative way. Trained facilitators lead the study circles and focus on the issues of race and diversity.
